  • I am a Yorkville University graduate student working on my master’s degree in counselling psychology.  I have also been volunteering as a Crisis Counsellor at Victim Services Toronto for over 2 years, where I provide immediate crisis response, intervention and prevention services to victims of trauma. I am adaptable to work with each individual case and thus contend that I take on an eclectic approach to counselling; by taking into consideration a variety of therapeutic principles and philosophies in order to create an ideal treatment plan to meet the specific needs of a client. For me, personally, it is incredibly rewarding to aid clients in creating goals in order to help them enhance their coping skills, quality of life and potential, facilitate behavioural change, improve relationships and promote their decision making.
