Child and Family Therapist
Claire is a Child and Family Therapist who has completed her Master’s of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University with a focus in working with individuals and families. She has eight years of experience working with children specifically in a variety of different settings, including church ministry, school board and Children’s Aid settings.
Claire pairs a person-centered, strengths-based approach to a variety of different techniques, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy and Art Therapy to meet children and adolescents where they are at and help build positive change in their lives. Claire has a special interest in attachment and child development, including issues such as divorce, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem.
In her spare time, Claire enjoys crafting, outdoor activities, and spending time with her family and pet boxer, Kaylee.
