Clinical Social Worker
Joey Crump is a Clinical Social Worker with a Masters of Social Work specializing in health and mental health. She enjoys supporting people with a wide range of difficulties. Her areas of special interest include anxiety and depression, trauma, marital enrichment, compassion fatigue, grief, abuse, chronic disease, and health related issues.
Joey’s professional experience includes working at the school board providing individual support, counselling services and groups. It also includes hospital crisis counselling and leading adult mental health groups in a community agency. In addition to her work at Meadowbrook Counselling Associates, Joey currently provides social work counselling services at a local Hospital.
Joey’s academic credentials include two undergraduate degrees, in Psychology and Theology as well as a Rehabilitation Certification with a focus on psychosocial and vocational rehabilitation. She also has specialized training in the following modalities:
•Advanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for children and adults
•Trauma Counselling Certification Level II
•Filial Therapy Child Parent Relationship Therapy
•Compassion Fatigue Specialist Training
•Prepare and Enrich- Marriage Enrichment and Pre-marriage training
Joey is a registered member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), and the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW).
