Juliann Rasanayagam has many years working in anger management. Using an eclectic approach, she combines Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Reality Therapy to help clients identify specific anger triggers and interventions that work best for her clients. Her deep understanding of intense emotions, such as anger, has helped her clients discover the root of their anger to achieve happiness in their daily lives.
The backbone to Juliann’s therapy is empathy. She believes that through empathy she can truly understand her clients’ emotions, allowing her to be an effective therapist. It is important to her that she provides a non-judgemental environment in which clients feel safe to share their emotions, aiding the healing process.
In addition to anger management, she also provides therapy for those who are suffering with depression, anxiety, PTSD, Intimate Partner Violence (IPV), stress, and parenting issues.
