Counselling Psychology Intern
Samantha is a Yorkville University student completing her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. Over the past five years, she has worked at the Centre of Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) assessing clients with depression, anxiety, and psychotic disorders and has also volunteered at the Toronto Distress Centre providing support and crisis intervention for clients in distress.
Samantha will utilize a holistic and individualistic approach throughout the therapeutic process. In addition, she will help clients attain insights into their thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and strengths by applying cognitive-behavioural and solution-focused therapeutic approaches.
