Suzanne Dumais is fully bilingual Family, Couple and Individual therapist who uses a warm, compassionate, non-judgmental approach with her clients. She is trained and experienced in a wide range of issues such as depression, anxiety, divorce recovery, grief and loss, and more. She uses a systematic therapeutic approach integrating many modalities in the areas of Narrative Therapy, Emotional-Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focus Therapy, Family Systemic and Psychodynamic. She believes it is crucial to build a therapeutic alliance in order to create a professional, confidential, collaborative, and respectful atmosphere with her clients that promote health, renew hope and those clients can gain the most from their life experiences. She is a qualified teacher with many years of experience, she understands children issues related to school stress and family difficulties. She works with teenagers and is familiar with the struggles or peer pressures that often make life stressful for them. Suzanne offers counselling in French and in English
